How to Download Your Media

When you book with Tolman Media, you receive all rights to your photos and videos. There won't ever be any watermarks on your photos or videos. The only rights we retain are creative rights to use these photos in our portfolios both online and offline.

Your photos will be available for viewing and downloading via Pixieset. Your video will be available for viewing and downloading via Vimeo and/or Google Drive. We are also happy to share the raw video footage with you if you'd like. The raw video footage will be available for viewing and downloading via an online storage program, such as Dropbox or Google Drive.

We suggest downloading your photos and videos as soon as possible after your event. We will host all your media for six (6) months following your event. After that, we will remove your footage. We would love to host your beautiful media forever but unfortunately, we have to make room on our drives for future clients.

There are several different ways to store your media once it's been downloaded. You can download it to your computer and host it there. Though this is probably the easiest way to store your media, it can take up a lot of space on your computer and cause your computer to not work as effectively or fast as you would like. We would suggest uploading the media to an online drive (such as Google Drive or iCloud) or purchasing an external hard drive to host the media (such as a USB flash drive). 128 GB is usually enough space to hold your media. If you are only uploading photos to the external drive, you won't need as much storage space.

Let us know if you have any questions or concerns. We are happy to help.

Photos

You will receive your final edited photos via a Pixieset gallery link. Pixieset is an online gallery designed for professional photographers to host, share, deliver, and proof online. You can download the photos individually or as a whole album. Watch this video for more information on how to download your photos.

Videos

You will receive your final edited video via a Vimeo and/or Google Drive link. Vimeo is a video hosting, sharing, and services platform provider. You'll be able to watch the videos and share them with family and friends on these platforms. Watch this video for more information on how to download your videos.

Raw Footage

We are happy to share your raw video footage with you when requested. However, we do not give out raw photos. Review your contract for more information. Your raw video footage will either be hosted on Box, Google Drive, or Dropbox. Because we mainly do highlight videos, the raw video footage will be in small clips. If you'd like to have the footage edited into a raw footage reel (like a home video), we can do that for an extra fee. Watch this video for more information on how to download your raw video footage.
